Tree Lotion CBD Cream

Of all the frauds being peddled today — and the list would stretch from here to Kansas City — CBD products are in the top ten.

Good news. If you ache…. If you are anxious and don’t want to medicate… if you’d like to be more chill at bedtime…I have found something of quality that works spectacularly for two people I know very well.

One is my daughter. A few years ago, she was attacked by a bear in the Wisconsin woods. No surprise: she had a fraught school year. When I was in California, a superior dispensary recommended CALM, from Tree Lotion. At night she rubbed it on her wrists. Sleep came easier.

Another is a friend with a few years on my daughter. She suffers from arthritis. Over the years, she’s taken dozens of medications; she keeps giant bottles of Advil and Tylenol handy. Now she rubs Tree Lotion cream on her hands, and gets dramatic relief. She also uses it as a skin moisturizer and reports superior results.

This is so far from the norm.

It is far from the norm because CBD products are not regulated or graded by the FDA — anyone can slap CBD on a label and sell it. Why? Because CBD products are derived from hemp, not marijuana. They contain no more than 0.3% THC — you can’t get a buzz from them. Because of that, CBD products can be sold even in states that haven’t legalized marijuana. And because the CBD market could reach $20 billion this year, CVS carries it and at least one grocery chain  is putting it in 1,000 stores . Really, it’s the Wild West out there: pain patches, tinctures, creams, oils for dogs, capsules, pills, bath bombs, vape cartridges, hemp honey, and more.

Update: when I go to California, I can no longer buy Tree Lotion at a weed dispensary.

That’s because the State of California has decided dispensaries can only sell products rich in THC. No high, no buy. Could Tree Lotion reformulate its creams so they provide healing and a buzz? It could. With an additional factory. And at considerable expense. And, most to the point, for no reason except to cash in at the expense of its original mission.

Poke around the Internet for CBD products. You get bullshit like this:

When we experience injury, disease or other deficiency of endocannabinoids, the compounds found in CBD called phytocannabinoids can help pick up the slack. But instead of interacting directly with CB1 and CB2 receptors like THC compounds, CBD compounds simply help to stimulate the receptors and get the body to recognize and use more of its natural cannabinoids and neurotransmitters.

Sure. Got it. And in case your science is weak, the accompanying photo of a wizened Chinese couple is sooo reassuring.

This is the language you see on the Tree Lotion site:

We have created unique proprietary blends using the most powerful and effective organic essential oils in the world combined with pure hemp derived CBD, tested and free of pesticides.
